I'm not going to change my tune on Zayn leaving despite all this. I am all for him doing what he wants to do and what makes him happy. I don't feel he owes me as a fan anything. He gave me five amazing years and did his best to stick around despite not really enjoying it anymore. Is the timing of all this ideal? No. But for some people, I don't think any time would ever be right. It's his life. Just because the others are sticking it out doesn't mean he has to. That's my two cents.

Yeah, I agree. I think it’s a matter of what narrative people choose to believe in this situation. I’m waiting to see what else happens, cause it’s 100% will. 

I dont’ really care much for Zayn, he left, he’s not a part of the band anymore. I’m here for larry and good music that is album 4, and several MM songs. I have no intention of watching his career evolve or whatever. Especially when there’s NB involved. I’m however interested in things that affect this fandom, in example the narrative that is being pushed and all the lies being told. I only hope that he chose wisely, and that he’s doing what’s good for him and if his heart isn’t with One Direction anymore - then he was right to leave. I hope he has a good career cause he deserves it, he worked hard through horrible things, and he’s a good person so yes. From now onto the good stuff.

But yes to the timing not being good and people never being ready. You can never be ready. I wasn’t ready, even tho I felt that it was it.
