My first lolita convention and first convention trip to Helsinki is over. Hellocon was interesting experience since most convetions that I visit are anime centered. Fashion being the main point of the event the program had several fashion shows, Q&A sessions of Angelic Pretty designers, workshops and panels related to Lolita fashion. Naturally there were many vendors from Finland, Japan and other parts from Europe and I got so many lovely things to show. So here is my Hellocon 2015 Haul.
All socks are from Lolita Butiken. Ankle socks are off brand and other ones are from Innocent World (in cream and white). Very simple old school lace topped socks but still versatile.
Chocomint stuff and Ribbon hair clips (from Lolita Butiken), some pearl necklaces and rose earrings (from vendors whose name I don’t remember) and Sweet and Tiny’s little chocolate cake pendant are much needed addition to my accessory stock. Rilakkuma plushy, hand towel and memo pad from Cute story shop were just too cute to pass.
The art booklets and a bonus post card are from Baroque and I got Angelic Pretty’s winter 2014 fashion catalog and post cards (honestly I just wanted to get their shopping bag). I also got Hellocon post cards, stickers and Hellocon 2015 poster and newest issue of Gaijin comic.
The biggest purchase was an Innocent World parasol (again from Lolita Butiken). It’s in cream colour, it has ruffles and it’s huge when opened wide. Simply having a parasol feels like a Lolita power up for me, being like Momoko in Kamikaze Girls.
I got so many lovely things to go my dresses. I hope that I can attend next year too.
