Before all this sequestering and social distance, I signed up last week for @hellofreshca because they had a good promo and the recipes were very appealing. Very timely as my grocery store was out of a few things 🤔😤🤬 I was excited to see the box come in but had to wait until I was done working from home before opening it. I don't impress easily but HelloFresh did a bang up job. Opening the box, each meal is inside a clearly labelled paper bag. The box is lined to keep things cold. All the meat was in the bottom ... on ice! Very slick and worked perfectly. I was really happy with the quality of the produce (fresh and crispy), the meats are nice cuts and the recipe cards are clear and concise. I'm not one to fully follow a recipe, so I tweaked it a bit. Tonight's dinner was Pan-seared chicken with smashed potatoes, roast green beans and a rosemary and leak pan sauce. Most of the prep is done ... I had to chop the potatoes and mince the garlic. That's it. Everything else is cooking along the easy directions. Bonus: most of the packaging is recyclable! Bonus 2: social distance maintained!
