I only have one blog. I'm on android and i did update my app before my very first question to you. Haha. I find it odd too. I never noticed it before not until now that i want to use it. Lol.
Do you know if you got the private post option when you’re posting from a regular computer / the Tumblr website? I wonder if that is somehow linked...
I already tapped that but all I have is the Post now, Save as draft, Queue, and Scheduled?
That is odd… For me, the option is between “save as draft” and “publish on…”. I have no idea why it would be different for you, sorry. Just out of curiosity, if you have more than one blog, does it not work for all of them? Also, do you use Tumblr on Android or iOS? And do you have the latest version of the app?

You mean can you make a private post with the mobile app? The answer to that is yes.
When making a new post, simply tap the little gearwheel symbol on the top right (see picture below), and in the following menu, select “post privatly” from the list. I hope this helps!
