i agree, it makes me so mad that schools do nothing to combat people’s ignorance on it, someone in my biology class a couple years ago asked about intersex people when we were covering sex/gender and and my teacher was literally like “no we don’t teach about this” and wouldn’t explain more so then people who aren’t willing to do their own research before they start arguing their side are just spreading their ignorance even further
