Right at this moment? I think London or Tokyo – have always wanted to go :3

Something that makes you insanely happy just thinking about it?

Some days it’s something cute I remember from a novel I’ve read or a show/movie I’ve watched, or something I’m itching to get down on paper or typed out on a word document, or a wonderful/clever lyric from a song I’ve got on repeat. Other days it’s a ridiculous private joke only one other person (or thousands of other blogs) in the world will understand, or it’s imagined plans for navigating the days, months, years ahead. It’s the little things, really, that ground me and make me so happy to be right here, right now.

If you had the opportunity to tell everyone in the world one thing, what would it be?

It’s okay to disagree with someone on something – there’s a very very very good chance people out there think you’ve got it all wrong too. From fandom headcanons to religion, from music genres to LGBTIQ rights – there will always always always be mixed views.

You just have to be mature and open-minded when approaching such debates. Always respect other people’s beliefs and opinions no matter how wrong you think they are – often it’s simply a matter of cultural/familial differences, or unawareness and misinformation on their part, or yours, or even both. Also please refrain from imposing your beliefs on other people, or mocking other people’s beliefs – it’s not nice.

Debates are good, debates are great, but let’s exclude violence and hate and just all be civil with one another, yeah?

I couldn’t possibly imagine using it for ambitious/petty things like killing all the criminals in the world or people who’ve hurt me in the past – I’d be too scared XD I’d probably keep it though, just in case… it might become very useful for when an aspiring Hitler 2.0 comes along or whatever…

1. What was the first band you ever listened to?

I’m not much of a music person in that I’m not really loyal to any one band or artist, but I do remember being into OneRepublic at one point…

2. What is one possession you hold dear to you?

This laptop I’m currently tumbling on. An old Dell I’ve had for nearly five years. Everything important is either on my laptop, or can be accessed via it. If I were stranded on a deserted island, I’d probably take my laptop and survive for as long as the battery life holds.

3. If you won a trip around the world where would you go first and where would you go last?

I’d go to London or Paris first, and then the lost city of Atlantis last. If I never find my last destination, will my trip ever end? (But if you wanted a serious answer, I’d go somewhere like Prague or Kyoto last – save my favourite places for the end, you know?)

4. If you could meet anyone in the world, who would it be?

Too many celebs and idols to choose from, so I’ll just go with Aussie Prime Minister Tony Abbott. I want to iron his shirt while he’s wearing it.

5. Would you go on a road trip across the U.S.? Why or why not?

We’re going on a trip to the U.S. this Christmas, so no, probably not, or at least not for a very long time after.

6. What’s your favorite way to get your frustration out?

Ignore it and let it fester. Or talk to a friend. Star jumps also help.

7. Do you collect anything?

Books and TV series probably don’t count… Oh! I have started collecting Studio Ghibli movies (mainly Hayao Miyazaki’s works).

8. What is your all time favorite movie?

I usually don’t have a favourite anything… and then came Pacific Rim (friends and followers would know from all the spam – I’m so, so sorry).

9. If you could take anything back what would it be?

My faith in humanity. Some things I’ve said and done. Mainly embarrassing stuff.

10. What’s your favorite season and why?

For a split second I thought – haha, never mind… Um, autumn? For the lovely colours?

11. Are you more of an audio or visual person?

Very much a visual person – I take better notes when copying it down from somewhere than when I’m listening to the teacher, so I tend to absorb more information if it’s in a visual format.
