             “hey! so glad you could make it — oh. you’re not arnold.” hand raised in greeting lowers to their their head, pushing back long hair && unveiling a quickly-masked annoyed expression. their evening appointment is about an hour overdue. “the problem with scheduling meetings with the historical society is they insist upon immersive accuracy — meaning no cell phones.” sloan shakes their head, glancing at their watch. this late in the afternoon, they suspect he’s simply not coming. no need to wait outside any longer. “so sorry, by the way, for the premature greeting. we do close in about half an hour, not nearly enough time to make it through everything, but unless you have something specific in mind, might i recommend the AUDIOMOBILE exhibit on floor two? we only have it for another week before it’s passed off to the acoustine.”

          Mikleo knows when he has met someone much more experienced than him, and this was one of those moments. He was prepared for it however as he was the one to enter the shop his own was competing with. Yellow hues darted across the room to see ingredients and collectibles he could only dream of getting his hands on. Then he locked eyes with who he presumed was the owner, offering a warm smile. “Hello, my name is Mikleo and I run the shop two blocks down and thought I should stop and introduce myself.” He scratched his cheek nervously. “I hope we can become business partners, you have an amazing collection here.” He remembered when the shop first appeared in his town and the immediate attention it caught by all of the civilians. He had to know the owners, or at least meet them, and ask them how they mastered teleporting something as large as a whole building.
