erm ok so this is a want ad for a significant other for my screenwriting professor! here’s what u need to know about the king legend:

now that you know about the king legend himself, here’s what i’m looking for in the request:

he’s been friends with his boo thang for a while. they don’t have to have been childhood friends, since my character’s not from italy, but they’ve known each other for at least a decade.

the love interest in question is also a professor at the school. i’m not gonna outline how long they’ve worked together, but they definitely would have been consistently in touch before the love interest started working at the academy

a few months ago there was an evening that involved [redacted illicit substance] and the two of them mega boned. my character immediately realized that he’s been in love w the opposite, and the opposite was like aha WHAT???

needless to say it’s been a little weird since then? because my man’s still crushing hard and the opposite is... figuring it out. they definitely like him back, but there’s a lot to unpack about them having been friends for so long, and maybe they just got out of a long-term relationship? oh TEA?

anyway they don’t have to be endgame but i’d love to explore the messy confusion of this!! this is a bad request i apologise
