so this isn't how i was intending to tell everyone but i'm getting a short story published in an aromantic anthology, which is exceptionally exciting but also a mere backdrop for the story I am about to tell you all - so, if you will:

>be me

>get your first story published in anthology

>get asked by editors to be one of five authors in the anthology to be online interviewed for an article (yay!)

>do the interview

>editors ask for social media links

>give them art instagram link

>article comes out

>other four authors in the interview are all previously published

>article is interspersed with pictures of the other author's books

>keep scrolling

>ONE OF THE SEGMENTS IS INTERSPERSED WITH NONE OTHER THAN CAMPERVAN AU ART I DID FIVE YEARS AGO, DEALING UNTOLD AMOUNTS OF PSYCHIC DAMAGE
