Early in Ray's career he was part of a comedy duo with Wallace Beery. In the 30s he was one of The Three Mesquiteers with John Wayne. He was also one of the Rough Riders and was the sidekick in a series of low budget westerns with Johnny Mack Brown.
Charles Bickford as Bob Sangster and Fritzi Ridgeway as the helpless new mother in Hells Heroes (1929). This is Chuck's fifth honorable mention, after Little Miss Marker, Duel in the Sun, Johnny Belinda and Four Faces West.
