Anthony groaned at the same question. The demons were out to mess with him, that was for sure.

"You’re screwing me…" he muttered. Then with an outburst, he yelled, "Take a good look outside and tell me that our lives will be going back to normal! Hell NO!”

What have you finally been able to do since the breakout that you weren't able to do before?

"Speeding, infiltrating America’s defence forces, exploring parts of the airport that the average traveller wouldn’t go to…" All of these sounded mundane and insignificant even to Anthony. He shook his head. "Shooting my fiancée point blank in the face and not getting jailed for it." It has come to the point that getting jailed at the current hellhole they live in might actually give him comfort from what he had done and console him while he was still mourning.

What's your biggest goal now that everyone's dead?

"Well, since everyone’s dead, I might as well just move on and get on with life then, right? I haven’t died yet.” Perhaps Anthony had forgotten to add the idea of ‘trying’ because he knew that he was a literal mess when he was left alone with his thoughts and haunting memories.

Anthony looked over his shoulder. "What - are you here in the hopes of getting more supplies too?"

"A cure?" This guy has got to be kidding. "—- Have you actually seen those guys? Their flesh is falling out, there’s no fucking way we can ‘cure’ them.” 

But somewhere at the very back of his mind, Anthony was thinking. What if there could be cure? Would it make him a murderer for shooting his one and only? He pushed the thought at the very back of his mind. The past has been done and his actions cannot be undone.
