Nolan had worked late the night before, and Logan hadn't slept well either, so he'd taken the night shift to watch over their son so Ruby could get a bit of good sleep that had escaped her since she'd fallen pregnant again. She crept into the living room of their quaint little house and saw Nolan and Logan both asleep on the couch, cartoon playing on the television softly. A smile broke out on Ruby's face and she walked over to pull up the blanket that had fallen to the floor and put it back over her sleeping child and husband. Leaning in close, Ruby pressed a kiss to Nolan's forehead, then another just for good measure.
