I was working on this illustration since december and I so happy to finally finish it ^^
I think, of all the cultures of Middle-Earth in the books and the movies, Rohan is my favorite (alongside the Elves of course ;-) ). When I frist saw Lord of the Rings the Towers Towers twelve years ago, the land of the Rohirrims made a such impression on me than it never leave from my heart. The music, the celtic/saxon/viking inspiration through all the visual design and of course all the characters from both the Trilogy, the Appendix or the movies...
