I would just like to spread the word about how SAFE helmets can be, if you are involved in any particular hobby that requires you to wear one... Yesterday I got knocked off my Mountain bike by a car, going over the handle bars whilst front flipping in the air hitting my head and back as I landed. I had to spend my evening in Hospital. I've got a few bruises & graizes, two of my teeth are cracked, swollen and very sore elbow, my big toe is also fractured - if it weren't for my helmet and my fully packed work bag, I would be in a critical condition right now. I'm thanking my lucky stars that I am still alive right now, as well as my boyfriend for firstly driving to the scene where it happened, then turning up at the hospital with chocolate.
