“Hu hu hu...” He brings a hand to his face dramatically, turning away from her and striking a pose. “It’s my rugged charm! My dishevelled appearance is, indeed, a charm point! Haha-!”  

Despise saying this with a great energy in his voice, the bags under his eyes and the messy way he was presented said there was more to it. His hair was unkempt, his eyes almost seemed about ready to close all by themselves, he had the beginnings of stubble across his chin and even standing still seemed difficult. (Well, it was always difficult for Otto, but in this case it’s more the ‘standing’ part.)

Still, as tired as he was, he did not give way much as to why. Even as his mind struggled to stay even awake, the inherent way in which his thoughts unravelled meant he could sometimes, if he was careful, stay one step ahead Yuko’s mind reading...somewhat. From here, he just had to hope and pray he could keep the nature of his Secret Project concealed...

“Yeah, well, iI say that, but...I’m exhaaausted~” He says, lurching forward like some kind of Zombie. “I guess I got a little too caught up in...My Project...” he thinks, “Do i really look that bad? She does look kinda worried...” He glances at the floor for a moment, feeling a little guilty at making Yuko worry about him like this...

“Be that as it may...” He sighs. There’s a smile on his face though- knowing that what he’s been working on is nearly complete. “To think, it only took 3 days of unrelenting work!”  “If you of all people are saying I look bad, then I must look really bad-” He pauses, thinking about weather he’ll take a break or head straight back to work after this. He was, afterall, so, so close to his Super Secret Science being complete...but--

“Ahh...that look on her face. Alright, alright! I’ll head home, clean up...AND head to bed...There’s no way I could refuse something sooo adorable~!”

“Well, I’ll be heading back, then...Aha~ Even though my...-” He puts a large amount of effort into thinking of anything BUT what he’s talking about. “project...is almost complete. But it can wait! It seems my ‘rugged charm’ isn’t quite as effective as originally theorised, and thus--!”

He takes off running down the hall- or rather, soemthing akin to running, but more of a wobbly sort of jog due to his exhaustion- yelling and laughing maniacally as he dissapears around a corner...

“I must cleanse myself! I must restore my previous state! Refresh! F5! Haha! Hahahahahahahaaa--!!! Goodbye, Farewell, Sayonaraaa!! ”
