Instagram posts to Tumblr

Question: I’ve noticed like 99% of my posts I send to my Tumblr from Instagram basically get ignored, regardless of whether they’re photos or art. My art at least USED TO get a slightly higher Like/Reblog rate before I started using Instagram to deliver my content. 

Is Tumblr using some weird algorithm that screens it out of people’s search results and tracked tags? I like the simplicity of having an app that posts across multiple social media sources, but what good does it do if only 2 people see it?
