between a tree and a hard place.
Despite his enthusiasm and curiosity surrounding the marvels of modern technology, the simplistic styling of Sector Six is something of a blessing. It is a small relief to know that among the flashing lights and incomprehensible technology that make up the city, there is still familiarity to be found. One of the parks is a great haven of it - and a potential haven of small events, given its size.
Sinbad finds he cannot resist the urge to clamber into the tallest branches of the first oak tree he sees. There’s much more to see there than there is from the ground: a better view of the city streets, an overview of the park as a whole... but what truly captivates him is the gentle breeze that glides past him, rustling his hair softly as if he were a sleeping child.
Foreshadowing, ha.
Perhaps his own arrogance is to blame for what happens. It certainly doesn’t help that he makes a show of his descent, hopping and twirling from branch to branch despite the knowledge that no one is looking. It stands to reason that those very displays are what gets his long hair tangled in the lowest branches as he attempts to jump to the ground. It is his luck - the good kind, he hopes - that someone is passing by below.
“Uh, hey... I know this looks silly, but d’you mind giving me a hand here? I’m kinda... stuck.”
