I still dont get how some people leave things in the oven and forgot it until it's burnt. Doesnt it have a timer...? Like it doesn't stay on forever after the timer went off does it..

#'i forgot it in the oven for hours and now it's burnt' like huh? even if you dont check in between it would still have a timer..no?#help me..#especially when you're following a recipe..they tell you how long..#like i dunno..it's not like a stove where you could absolute burnt shit with or without a recipe bcs you took a nap #or left and forgot abt it.#i barely used one. most baked goods i make are mostly steamed or whatever my mom's magic bullshit she got.#i finally have an oven like..recently.

every artist jokes about never flipping the canvas but i personally put it down, flip it, and reverse it for every other line.

all this to say im doodling traditionally at work rn and having my ass handed to me cause i cant flip the canvas 😭
