hey give me advice????

so lately ive been feeling unmotivated and empty and like nothing matters? and i know i have depression and all that shit but it's never been like this before? where it's a sudden episode of it? it's always been pretty constant, so is this normal? i brought it up with my therapist but she wants be to call my psychiatrist and everything and i don't want to change my meds if this is just a short temporary thing yknow??? so does anyone know what's wrong with me???
