Prompt: Does the Golden Rule help society or force conformity?

I want to say that the Golden Rule (treat others how you wish to be treated) forces conformity because everyone else is saying it helps society but I can't think of much evidence.

Reasons not to kill yourself

Portal 3 might come out

Half-Life 3, (or Half-Life 2: Episode 3) might come out

Left4Dead 3 might come out

Team Fortress 3 might come out

Counter Strike 3 might come out

Valve might count to three.

You won't see how Doctor Who ends

You won't see how Supernatural ends

You won't see how Sherlock ends

You won't see how Attack on Titan ends

You will be missing out on that really cool fandom that gets created and never know the joy of being in it.

You won't see how Homestuck ends

A good book series might come out and you won't be able to read it.

You are missing out on the chance to meet a cute guy or girl.

You will be missing out on that cool new social networking site that someone makes in the future.

You will never find out if Obama fixes the economy. 

Don't kill yourself since I told you not to which is the best reason there is.

The bible says suicide is sin which means it is bad which means you shouldn't do it. 

Your funeral would cost money and that money you could be spending on pizza, netflix, and kittens.

Leonardo DiCaprio might win an oscar and you wouldn't be around for it to happen.

You will miss out on meeting any new Disney princesses and that new one might be your favorite so if you die you would not see your new favorite princesses. 

You would miss out on the Rapture since that is totally an event that is going to happen.

Every time a person kills themselves a baby seal cries and do you really want to make a baby seal cry?

If you die all the money you were going to make is going to go to someone else and do you really want someone else to have your money because its your money and you need it now. 

Your life can't get better if you have no life so please live so things can get better.

If you die and your still in your twenties you will never have fully gone through puberty and will be missing out on the chance to become really hot and you are then therefor depriving other people of the happiness they would get at gazing upon that amazing piece of a+ grade beef.

By killing yourself you are increasing the suicide average and that is not a number you want to be effecting.

Luigi might finally be defeated and you will be gone and miss that.
