Thinking of blind Imogen asking permission if she can touch Laudna's face and Laudna lets her, though scared that Imogen will realize who/what she is. A monster.

Imogen, ever so gentle and caring, like holding a fragile ceramic statue, trace Laudna's face. As if she's delicately sculpting a statue. And Laudna who has not known any gentle touch for a long time, maybe even ever, cries silently as she lets her head lean into Imogen's gentle touch. The snakes even gently coils around Imogen's wrist, not in a restrictive way. As if they accept Imogen too
