Well I had an interesting over night experience. I had a bad nightmare and it must've caused some disturbance because next thing I know, I hear my name spoken gruffly but in a friendly manner- "Mike!" and I wake up from the nightmare, I immediately think of our house wight and I say "thank you" and I go back to sleep. This was a little after 3 am. This morning I thanked him for his kind help and I told him since he obviously knows my name, I'd be honored if he'd share his name with me. I told him no pressure and only if he is ready to do so. So I'll be waiting to see if a name comes to me. I left him a bit of milk on the kitchen table while I was having breakfast. I share this because it shows that if you develop a good relationship with your house spirit(s) they can help you in so many unexpected ways. I knew they could help with locating lost objects, tidying up for you, keeping you and your home safe and so on but to receive help in waking from a nightmare, that was a new one.
