I first start with what kind of mood I'm going for in an art piece. Usually red is for strong emotions, blue is for calmer ones, black is for strong dominant ones... so on and so forth. A lotta color theory.

My favorite color selections are warm tones because I find them really neat and upbeat!

After I understand the emotion of what I'm going for, time for arting!

For this piece, I wanted to emphasize energy, power, and a kind of surreal feeling, so I went with purple.
