Its so frustrating not being able to help everyone when we hit the streets. It seems that every time we visit the encampments, they grow and grow. More and more people and animals are living on the streets. It saddens me and it honestly breaks my heart. We didn't go to many spots today. I took the time to start a conversation with the people I met; specially the women. I gave my information to every single one of them to see if I can do my best to provide them with the resources they need. Even though I CAN'T house them, I can at least connect them with agencies. Every single woman I met, had a disturbing story of sexual abuse. Thank you Cloud9 supporters and donors, specially our amazing volunteers for being part of the solution and actually doing something to help.
