I have had a chance to do a lot of reflecting over the past few days, especially last night as we all sat around reflecting on our experience this retreat. My psychology degree and my work in that field will be first, but no job I ever have in psychology will compare to this coaching job. The friendships I have made, the experiences I have been granted, the places I get to visit, and the ability to help others take control of their health and ultimately their lives. No matter your passion, you have the ability to make it happen if it’s something you truly want.

It is very easy to get caught up in the trials that we are going through. I am guilty of this too. But finding reasons to stay positive during the hard times is something that will stand is in good stead as we move forward in life. Learning to be a bit more gentle on yourself will go such a long way to seeing things more positively than you normally would. There are days when helping others is much easier than helping yourself but the trick here is that helping others is helping yourself.
