Here is a little tutorial about the bamboo-work – some of You asked me, how i did it. This is really "quick’n’dirty" but it explains the basics... . Some asked me about "reference": Well, i went into our garden, had a concentrated look at our bamboo and got back to my "drawing-chair" and started this out of my memory and/or phantasy :-) Have fun, cheers, Miki

Like IDK if other people have this problem too, but sometimes SAI crashes on me and I don't have the drawing saved, and all I have is a screenshot of the lineart or something. But its not transparent so I can't color underneath it, like this:
Ok, its pretty simple actually. All you have to do is set the layer the lineart is on to MULTIPLY. Like so:
And ta-dah! You're good to go c:
*But now, what if you want to change the color of the lineart too? Then just follow these two steps:
Create another layer on top of the lineart and set it to CLIPPING GROUP, so it stays within the image. After that, set that layer to the setting SCREEN.
