Welcome to Hels-A-Noon June!!

The Concept

SO. What is Hels A-Noon June? Simple. It's a 30 day drawing challenge encouraging fans of Hermitcraft and Modded Crew to conceptualize and design their own Helsians!! It's a dying art and I wanted to revive it!!

The Rules

All fanwork is allowed! Fanfics about your Helsmits, fanart of them, concept artwork, etc etc... I just wanna see the Helsmits of the fandom!!!

Tag your posts as #helsanoon, I'll try my best to reblog as much art as I see

You DO NOT have to draw a new drawing every day, you are 100% allowed to prep your drawings and queue them for the month! You're also allowed to skip days if you don't have any ideas. This isn't meant to be stifling or anything. If you have a Hermit or Friend you want to draw a Hels for, draw them first and queue it up!! This is literally just to encourage fun and edgy designs based on the Cubitos!!

The rules aren't super strict, you don't really have to do them in order, heck, you don't even have to do them in June. This is a super loose, fun thing.

If I miss any posts, I'll add them to a bit ol queue

What the Heck is a Hels!?

So for those of you who don't actually know what the heck I'm talking about!! A Helsmit, or a Helsian as I like calling them, is just. The Hels counterpart of a Hermit. The only canon Helsmit is Helsknight, we don't actually know if others exist! But that hasn't stopped anyone!!!

There are 2 ways fans typically go about designing Helsmits.

One approach to making a Helsmit by simply making the opposite of the respective Hermit. This is a pretty common method and I can totally see the appeal. It IS a Mirror Dimension after all

The other approach to making a Helsmit is by taking a trait, whether positive or negative, and twisting it until it's something bad. You're making an evil little guy here.

This blog is currently being run by @galaxygermdraws! Local Hels enthusiast (Me n one of my friends have 40+ Helsians). I use he/they/it and I will actively be participating myself!

Why are there Non-Hermits in this prompt list?

Simple answer, because I think it's cool! Back when Skizz wasn't a Hermit, I was potentially the first person to create a Hels version of him! I also made it a point to make a Hels Scott and a Hels Jimmy. Nowadays, it's not uncommon to see Hels versions of Life Series folks! Heck, one of the more popular Hels fics has a very relevant Hels Jimmy!!

Can I Draw Fanart of Other People's Helsmits?

ABSOLUTELY!!! As long as you tag who you're drawing fanart for, it's free game. No passing off a Helsmit that isn't yours as your own, though!! That's stealing!! And that's bad! I know we're celebrating evil clones here but we don't do that!

But yes, you're allowed to draw fanart for other Hels, I know of a Hels Tango that I bet multiple people would want to draw

Why Are You Even Doing This?

I'm doing this literally just because I want an excuse to make references for my Helsmits, design some new ones, and I just want to see Helsblr revived from the dead. I won't even lie I was inspired by Hermit-A-Day May to do this, and I only chose the month of June because it's Helsknight's birth month!

Hels a Noon June Day 13: Cleo

PUTRIIIIID one of my FAVORITE DESIGNS I've ever done honestly. I love how they look. I already love my Cleo design so ofc Putrid makes me so happy and is so incredibly gender to me. So Fun fact time!!

Putrid was an "Angel" (basically Hels Endermen. You know that Angel that Skizz made in one of the Building games, not one of the main Guess the Build videos, but it was like white with gold accents??? But looked like an Enderman??? Ya it's like that kinda) that ended up falling, and instead of die, they were found n saved by Zedeath (he resurrects people solely to spite the Stalkers)

They were, at some point, a fan of Helskizz's horrible TV show tm, and they had a very short lived relationship during his rut before Putrid went "yea I cannot. Deal with this man I am leaving actually".

They ended up basically retiring from working for Zedeath when he lost his mind trying to find some way to get Axis back. She n Helskizz ended up basing together at some point during LC9.

The glowing bit of their eye is part of her true form. Idr why she never covered it up

Her outfit is honestly the exact same as Cleo's just more ripped and with darker colors. I kinda didn't wanna change too much because I think my Cleo has a peak design I won't lie.

I def think the main trait of Cleo's to come out with Putrid is the fierce, fiery bits of their personality. Putrid is just like Cleo but to the side. One of the few Hels who I genuinely think may get along with their counterpart. Because. There aren't a lot of those

Hels A-Noon June | #2, Bdubs

Username: RotdoubleO200. Name: Root.

Pronouns: he/xe. Species: Human/Seasonling.

Root is more of a loner, and tends to move from place to place instead of having one permanent base. Gets along fine with other Players and Hels, but tends to be pretty quiet around people. He avoids encounters with Bdubs to the best of his ability, and has only properly spoken to him twice.

He's run into Etho a lot of times (too many, if you ask xem) and has a steadily growing fear of him. Having met a handful of 404s definitely doesn't help, either. Root's met most of the other Hels, but there's no one xe would really call a friend. Though xe does get a weird look on his face whenever he sees Foxtrot.

Xe's lived on both Helscraft and Hermitcraft multiple times before, and travels between them whenever he likes. He's almost constantly grumpy and very tired.

Facts & Features

– The only sign that he's a Seasonling is the fact that he has an Autumn form, which he's permanently stuck in.

– Xe has an old neutralized sculk infection around xer legs and waist. He's always very wary whenever passing through Cub or Tango's areas.

– He has a ton of scars from different incidents and encounters.

– Never takes off xer scarf.

Hels a Noon June Day 12: Gem

So Aquarius got a whole Overhaul, and there's lore that's currently a big ol' WIP. But I figured I'd redesign her to be more in line with my Gem!

Aquarius has 2 siblings, uLash (Hels Fwhip) and Bratwurst (Hels Sausage, adopted brother). The three grew up on Helspires together.

When Aqua joined Lonecraft, she ended up being dragged into the Cult of the Black Heart, and ended up infecting Bratwurst and uLash with

In my head, the current idea is that when Hermempires happens for the Helsmits, it leads to the destruction of the Cult and the de-possession of Aqua, Forge, HeJoop, uLash, and Bratwurst.

Aqua's scars come from when she was infected by the Black Heart

She's pretty aggressive, unsurprisingly, and despite her appearance, is one of the most dangerous members of Lonecraft. Not even Cic or Bonesaw will mess with her, and they're also some of the most powerful people on the server

Her new design is very based on Secret Life Gem, since that's my favorite Gem skin.

Hels a Noon June Day 14: Joe Hills

JOSEPH. My TMA core any pronouns Helsmit <- has never listened to TMA n gave them those vibes on accident! Time for lore!!

Joseph was granted premonition and knowledge by the Stalkers, in return for not intervening and letting things just. HAPPEN.

This means Joseph is actually the only Helsmit who is aware of Nexus.

The scars on his neck and wrist come from when he had like. Magical chains on. Tethering him to the Stalkers. The purple comes from where her eyes were

At the end of S8, Joseph ended up ignoring the Stalkers' warnings and saved Axis from the end of the server (moon big but for Hels hehe). in my head, Joseph's motivation for this was probably just because they've been on the server as long as Axis and have like. Seen everything he's gone through. And he looked so upset and disheveled and...well...somethin in her heart panged. Needed to help him

This led to Axis asking Zedeath to revive Joseph. I like to think Joseph is kind of like a little third to their duo turned trio. He is not involved in whatever weird situationship they have, though. Nobody should be involved in that.

The pale purple in their hair used to have more color, but when they died/lost the Stalkers' favor, it desaturated.

Nobody knows if their eyes are orange or if it's just their glasses

Hels a Noon June Day 1: Grian

It's officially Hels-A-Noon June!! I did draw these in advance, and I also didn't do every day. But I'm still going to post the ones I did! So Day 1 is Koray, my Hels Grian.

Fun Facts! I suppose!

Koray has a permanent limp after S7. He got eaten alive by Claptrap's sentient base and it messed up his legs. He tends to fly everywhere anyways though, so you literally wouldn't notice

Half of his face is waxed because of the Stalkers (Hels Watchers). Before he could get fully blinded he lashed out and killed a Stalker before running away and ending up on Lonecraft (aka. where the Helsmits live)

He and Hels Taurtis (unnamed rn) were a couple before the Stalkers showed up and left DEVO in ruins

His cape is one he's had since DEVO

The cuts and slits on his arm are actually extra eyes that were cut into him.

He's basically Limbo's dad, but Limbo doesn't like. Call him dad. But like. He IS Limbo's dad. Basically.

Hels a Noon June Day 5: Scar

Fun Facts!!

Cic's design is based on a mix of my favorite Scar skins! He has Vex elements of course, he has the white hair from Last Life Scar, his fit is purple like Mayor Scar, and he has the general fanciness of Elf Scar

He tends to live in a like. Fancier Woodland Mansion. It's a lot bigger, and much fancier, and very very lavish. His dining hall is specifically the fanciest room, with a giant chandelier and a long table but he's always the only person sitting at it, in an appropriately fancy chair.

His staff are all mind controlled to the point where they don't even really think for themselves at all. He just has to make prolonged eye contact with them and his magic fogs over their brains. If they disobey or become too unruly to control he will eat them! He is, in fact, a cannibal

He came in second place in 3L, much like actual Scar. He deserved to lose, though, because he had forced Koray to kill Limbo, and in return, Koray took Cic to the top of the world and threw him down, causing him to die (his wings didn't work on 3L due to the lack of KitHater531)
