𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐞;

Helthune was born shortly before the Snow Elves, who were faced with extinction from the Nords, were forced to live underground with the Dwemer. Due to the harsh conditions, torture, and experiments, her growth was stunted at a young age. She also became unable to speak and was rendered partially blind, forced to rely most on her hearing as well as signing. It was during the War of the Crag that she was able to escape into Blackreach, where she survived largely by herself for thousands of years. Driven almost mad by the loneliness and the hostility of the Betrayed that flowed into Blackreach after the disappearance of the Dwemer--for whom she still harbors a strong hatred for--, Helthune managed to stumble across a series of unused and unknown tunnels. She explored them out of curiosity, and eventually arrived at Darkfall Cave, where Gelebor and the Chantry of Auri-El were located. Noticing she wasn't as far gone as the Betrayed, he took her into his care. Helthune, who has no other family left and believes they were all slaughtered or turned into the Betrayed, thinks of Gelebor as her father and is much happier living within the Chantry.

𝐄𝐱𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐬;

❆ Helthune makes a few appearances in my fanfiction, Petrichor, in Chapter 17, Darkfall, and Chapter 19, Cascade. ❆ Her sign language is based off the Falmeric language, which her and Gelebor created after he took her in. ❆ She enjoys sketching the ancient ruins a lot and often asks Gelebor for more supplies to do so. ❆ Hel's flower crown is made with nirnroots, coda flowers, and hanging moss. ❆ Her eyes are compared to kunzites. ❆ She's left-handed. ❆ Helthune played a much bigger role in the original one-shot iteration of Petrichor, where she was discovered by Vigdis and Serana and helped lead them to the Elder Scroll located in Blackreach. Due to significant changes to the story during rewriting, her larger part was ultimately cut out. ❆ Due to experimentation and torture by the Dwemer, Helthune no longer remembers her original family. ❆ She once had to kill out of self-defence. The memory still haunts her. ❆ If she were gifted with a dragon name, she would be called Faskodhaan; gentle, snow, light.

Edraeus runs. Fully. Just bolts. And if he can't run, he freezes. It's what happens when you're turned into a werewolf at a young age and then tortured by Silver Hand even though you're just a kid

Ooo. When Wynn has to go to Snow Veil Sanctum with Mercer, I feel like she had been trying to distance herself from both Brynjolf and Sapphire. She thinks she keeping them--and herself--safe, but uhh. That obviously. Goes very. Wrong. Yeah

✑ Does this OC have a secret or repressed desire?

Rulve has THE rudest gay awakening. I don't think she ever really thought about it, since she has to suffer with her very dead ancestor being an almost constant pain in the ass. Nyz has always been super forward and flirty but Rulve just . . . doesn't care. Until an event happens >:3c SO SECRETLY SHE WANTS ELARYA TO STEP ON HER

Hel worships Auri-El and . . . nature, more or less. She's learned a lot from Gelebor and she really appreciates his gentle teachings and patience

For Rayy, it depends! Sometimes it's okay, other times it hurts far too much for comfort. She does like it, though. Even if it hurts.

✑ Share one of this OC’s early memories.

I have it where Mevunsi is a cousin to Queen Barenziah, and she has memories of playing with her when they were kids! Ohh, and since Karliah is related to Barenziah, I wonder how that interaction would go . . . ? Hmm. Something to ponder.

UHHHH since I try to make my OCs very different from me, a better question would be 'name a similarity' JFDGLJDFGJN in which case uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Uhhhhhh. They're all gorgeous like me [kidding] [I dunno how to answer this either way] [weeeee]

What kinds of hobbies does Helthune have?

Helthune LOVES to sketch and draw!! She's ALWAYS asking Gelebor for more charcoal and parchment, which sometimes proves somewhat difficult to obtain. I imagine that she would also get into sewing and knitting and crocheting if she had the tools for it. And she would be an EXCELLENT bookbinder, or potter. She's very much a hands-on crafty type and is happiest when she's creating something!
