Have you heard about this? Hemifacial spasm. It is a disease.
I feel like I have it. I plan to be diagnosed soon.
With the corona virus still around, and we still have no vaccine. I only go out when necessary plus the hospitals and clinic are often full. At the moment I will observe this twitching / spasm on the left side of my face under my eye. Also, do some reading.. which I think will make me anxious because as you know you can never really diagnose yourself just by reading.. I don’t have any medical knowledge to do that.. you can even read too much that might not be needed. A rabbit hole trying to find assurance.
I will just observe, take notes on the interval how often it happens.. or maybe this twitching is caused by other factors like dehydration or too much caffeine intake? I heard those can cause twitching sometimes.
I don’t conclude anything as of now.

Hemifacial spasm (HFS) is a rare neuromuscular disease characterized by irregular, involuntary muscle contractions (spasms) on one side (hemi-) of the face (-facial).[1] The facial muscles are controlled by the facial nerve (seventh cranial nerve), which originates at the brainstem and exits the skull below the ear where it separates into five main branches.
