Currently, the CBD market is completely unregulated – and because of this, we know how hard it is for consumers to know whether the CBD products they’re buying are legitimate or effective. This is the last thing any of us needs!
At the House of Hemp OBX we do our homework. That means tuning out the noise and sifting through exaggerated claims to offer you only the highest quality CBD and hemp products. We are “geekily glad” to be fans of SCIENCE…and believe that our decisions must be based on it. After we’ve waded through it all, it’s also our job to help educate our customers.
While we like to focus on the positive aspects of the hemp and CBD industry, we also think it’s important to shine a light on scams and dubious practices…and put pressure on the hemp industry to do better.

At the end of the day, CBD scams hurt our industry and damage the trust that we stake our name on. As a staff, we study the science, expect transparency from our vendors, and take our role seriously. We know that our customers come to us with concerns and questions, and trust that what we share – and sell – is reliable, safe, and worthy of their trust.
