*curious*  Where were you at in the KHR fandom?  I mean, which section/character/pairing did you hang out in?  That's another one where I just REALLY INTENSELY LOVED THE FANDOM and spent so much time in it, because I just really liked that manga. Also, it's one of those fandoms that has spoiled me to this day, because I'm so used to getting a ridiculous amount of gorgeous doujinshi to feed my porn fix.  Like, there were times in that fandom where I was genuinely porn'd out.  I HAD HAD A SATISFYING AMOUNT OF PORN.  That has yet to happen in this fandom. Comics fandoms are... they've always got a low-level meanness in the water, there's always someone waiting to write a long post about how you're entirely wrong and your pairing is stupid and your characters are stupid and your fannish interactions are stupid.  Always.  But, despite that, I've met some really lovely people and there's so much great stuff in the MCU part of the fandom that I have great affection for it.  There's a lot of really cool people here, even if there are obnoxious fucks here, too.  ^_~ (Oh, shit, Tenimyu, THAT BRINGS BACK MEMORIES, even if I never got as deeply into it as I wish I had--but I did have quite the crush on TakiEiji, like, godDAMN he was hot in that first musical.)

I was lucky that I never got too far into the anonmeme hate, but I think KAT-TUN probably got the worst of all the JE groups in that respect?  I know there definitely was some Arashi hate going on after awhile, especially when too many fans of it (and I admit that I probably didn't help this, either) were like ~*BEST BAND EVER*~ and ~*NONE ELSE CAN COMPARE*~ and the whole RIDICULOUS wank over which fucking group had the most "member ai". Oh, god, I know it's terrible what so many people went through, but I'm having a moment here.  A moment were I'm looking back and remembering that we wanked furiously over WHICH GROUP HAD THE BEST "MEMBER AI".  And I am suddenly laughing really hard at all of us. Akame vs Pin was brutal at times, though.  ):  There was so much terrible behavior on both sides, that everyone just constantly attacked everyone else and being a KAT-TUN fan through all the comings and goings Jin did couldn't have been easy, either.  (Or were you out before all that really got going?  I remember it happening and I think I was more in 07-10, when I was at my peak JE fangirling.) I've never encountered anonmemes that were as vicious as the JE ones were, though.  I guess SPN or HP probably had them, but it's not like JE was a huge fandom! SORRY, I JUST HAD A REALLY BIG NOSTALGIA BOMB OVER THIS.
