so i found this about the original village (called ‘’iyidere’’ in rize province now, aspet in the past) of my moms family in the black sea region. they moved to a bigger town on the west (akçakoca) 4 generations ago and nobody they know lives in iyidere anymore. actually this book on the hemshin seems to be the only source i found about the history of that town. well, it seems to be unimportant and small.
