Update + BTS: Tight City
On Sunday, June 8th we had all gathered for our photo session [except Michelle, who ran off to Sin City without any warning]. 3+ hours of setting up, 1 hour lunch, and roughly 30 mins of actual photo taking.
What is this all about?! Let me inform you.
We started up a kickstarter a few months back [https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1236422298/tight-city-vancouver-public-art-project] to cover our printing + perks costs of a public installation piece, one that will be up for 6+ months on Canada Line property [corner of Robson & Granville].
We got funded $1,377, and we asked for $1,000. Which is fantastic [!!] but still need to raise another 500 - 800 dollars [late night baking for a bake sale..]
Concept Sketch:
We've changed it up slightly, by adding in a TV + Bean Bag Chair.
It may seem as thought that's a lovely spot to rest, but BEWARE. Do not jump onto it! We may or may not have used wooden palettes. Story on how we brought them to downtown Vancouver from Main & 7th some other time..
Here's our in-the-process-of-setting-up DIY lighting gear. Because who at our age has the money to buy thousands of dollars worth of lighting gear?? [thank you ikea lamps]
Post photo session stress
Notes on how it went:
-Since I couldn't take a photo of my self (close up), that's the one photo that's messed up/different from every other one.... *sigh*
