Pinocchio iz ready for some caffeine high! Lululululu~
Thinking about how imagination affects a drawing, and organic, fluid lines bring meaning to the whole.
Pose study of a character I’m developing for a personal project. And then turned it into a short GIF for fun. I still feel like it isn’t dynamic enough.
Sometimes I feel like I am relearning how to draw. I have been thinking a lot about what I like about my art after I recently listened to an interview with Loish in Chris Oatley's podcast. She said so many wonderful things and spoke honestly about her works and art and her fans. There were so many moments when I shouted, "Yes!!! That!!!!". I do want to convey deeper meaning in what I create, but it doesn't always have to be deep and artsy. Especially when I just want to draw cartoon! I love cartoon. I love how silly it is and makes people laugh, and love the magic that manipulates people's emotions. I just want to have fun with my drawings!! Intuitive but skillful.
