i really do love that hendrix truly believed he would be able to expose leo's manipulation and games, stop him and save the day (aka chlic's relationship) because anyone who knows what leo is like knew hendrix would fail. like, leo has fucked over crime bosses, messed around with criminals and got away with it and manipulated/ruined countless lives without anyone knowing what he did. he's not going to be scared off by a teenager and the fact he openly found hendrix amusing said as much. he didn't even try to mess with hendrix to get him to stop, even though he very easily could've. instead, he just acted like hendrix was imagining things and everyone around him in turn convinced hendrix he was doing just that.
focusing on the positives... mainly that these two are finally together again!
