Going out with this man is like you won a surprise lottery

It’s not easy to get this man to initiate however, please be patient with him

After dropping hints around the lab for months you were wondering if he’d ever ask you out

It isn’t until a particularly stressful day of work, as you’re reaching for your coats and heading towards the door he asks if you’re going straight home

He’ll most likely take you to dinner and a movie

Hold his hand as you’re walking to the theater or lean on his shoulder during the movie, he’ll flush pink and smile softly at you

He’s a little anxious at dinner but once conversation begins to flow becomes more at ease

He asks you detailed questions on your life or field of study and listens avidly, return the favor and watch him perk up and babble excitedly about his scientific theories

Praise this man in some way shape or form, he’ll be humble to the finish, but it’s something he needs to hear

Raise his self confidence and general happiness

People around you would note how happy you look and how he can’t seem to take his eyes off you.

(You hear a girl nearby coo at you both and wish loudly that her boyfriend would look at her like that, causing Crawford’s ears to turn pink)

The bashful smile that appears on your face is his reward, and you tell him just how sweet he is

Please cherish this man and don’t let him go, he’s forever material.

He’ll end up walking you home after the night is through, and you wish the night could go on forever

He’s the perfect gentleman bringing you to your porch before awkwardly bidding you goodnight

If you end up unable to ignore the urge to kiss him and pull him close to you, that’s between you and him

Six hour road trip with: Crawford, I feel like he’d be a great conversation partner and it would be a really positive experience. Not to mention road trips can feature games, stopping for snacks/food, it would be a more interactive trip. (Aka a dream date idea, let me take this boy to a 7-11 and buy him a soda and a candy bar)

Sit next to on a six hour flight with: Herbert. We’d be able to talk, but with social courtesy we’d also mostly have comfortable silence and stay to ourselves. I love this man, but I make no promises about small talk for six entire hours. (At least not without wanting to punch him or kiss him on the lips)

Sit across from on a six hour train journey: Milton. Since we’re sitting across from each other and not next to each other there’s opportunity for conversation and for comfortable silence (and he’s absolutely adorable so the view from the window isn’t the only nice one to enjoy and oh god now I’m imagining meeting him this way and flirting with him oh god my heart)

I still have to figure out how I want to draw Trill and Other Folks, so stay tuned... I like keeping everyone looking similar to how they look in the actual show, but it’s fun to nudge the designs just slightly farther away from human.

reanimator / howl fairytale au?

This made me fucking scream!!!! Like, I am really fucking into this and if it turns into a full story, you have yourself to blame

Dan is a knight, Herbert is an alchemist or even actually a doctor, Jess is in charge of the animals (since she’s always adopting some sort of creature). 

This is a sub point of this: no one is technically of noble blood. Though there are implications that Herbert is not wholly human. Jess’s mother is implied to have been from a noble or even royal family, but was disowned before Jess was born. Dan is just a good old farm boy because he’s basically brunet Westley)

They have to go on some sort of journey so Dan can win the hand of a princess. It’s a fool’s errand that they were sent on because of their roles in ye old massacre, which still happened in this universe. Dan dragged them along because between the three of them, they don’t need anyone else.

Francesca joins them along the way, she wants to see them slay the dragon, either metaphorically or literally. They literally wind up doing this. 

Jess is still scarred and they’re even worse (she has her scars from the director’s cut, which are the ones from the original and new ones on her face, which are basically the ones Amy Acker has in Dollhouse). But there is still a scene where Herbert sees the person he thinks is the most beautiful, either in a mirror or a hallucination, he sees her. And she would see him. 

There is something involving one feral idiot being in a coma and needs true love’s kiss to be woken up. The other one kisses them, they wake up. AND THEY STILL DENY EVERYTHING.

It feels like the title of a fic for my Herbert/Nun series. Like, a fic about their physical journey, if you know what I mean, which includes how they learned about their mutual choking kink (remember how the whole thing started off as a request for some choking and breeding kink smut and then i went off the rails?)
