Henmilite is a rare mineral that can be found only at its type locality at the Fuka mine in Okayama on Honshu Island, Japan. It occurs there in cavities in borate veins that are within a contact-metasomatized limestone.
Olshanskyite found in magnesian skarn (Titovskoye deposit, Russia); formed by alteration of nifontovite and some other anhydrous borate, near gehlenite-spurrite skarn (Fuka, Japan).
