This image has a lot of symbolism, once you really start to analyse it and look closer.
For example, the figure a leaping dancer in the poster replicates and mimicks the man in the foreground of the photograph.
The ladder also replicates railway tracks which links in with the poster in the background that says “Railosky.”
The last symbolism I could spot was the effect of the ladder in the water, creating circular shapes that replicates the spare, discarded metal pieces.

This image actually caught my eye last time and was one I was going to choose for my image analysis last time, so this is a great opportunity for me to be able to actaully go into detail and research about this image.
This was actually one of his most successful photographs for many reasons but I will go into more of them in the next few posts.
