Dinner and a Show >> Henri and Zelda
Henri’s smile widened at the prospect of taking Zelda to dinner. “That’s perfectly fine. I trust you decisions.” He said when she offered to drive them to dinner. He grabbed his hat and cane quickly from inside the tent but held them for a moment while he thought. He had seen Zelda around the park and found her extremely fascinating. He wanted to learn about her and find her fortune. He looked deeply into her piercing black eyes and saw a small glimpse of himself somewhere in her future. He chuckled slightly thinking back to a few weeks ago.
Henri sat by his table in the middle of the room gazing into his magic ball. It was the monthly check of his own future and he was very interested to see what was in store for this month. The ball grew hazy as a black smoke filled it. Images started appearing of the usual amount of flow of customers and normal everyday stuff he usually dealt with. Suddenly a strong bright image appeared of him at dinner with a woman with long, black, wavy hair. He couldn’t make out the face of the woman but he seemed pleased in the image. The smoke faded and Henri leaned back in his chair and smiled.
Henri put on his hat and ran his fingers over the trim. He looked back up at Zelda and smiled once again. He wrapped both hands on the top of his cane and set the end down on the ground in front of him. He then had a sudden thought and pulled out one of his business cards. He handed it to her and said, “I forgot to give this to you before. Just in case you want to go to more than one session.” He winked as a smirk fell on his lips. He gave her a moment before saying, “I’m ready to go when you are.”
