Marvel launched a second Damage Control limited series and tied it into the Acts of Vengeance Cross Over Event. The first issue had a cover date of December, 1989. Damage Control was bought by new owners and Anne-Marie Hoag left the team. ("No Vault Insurance", Damage Control 1# vol 2, Marvel Comic Event)

What I’ve noticed about Damage Control is it is really just... the first mainstream book that is just silly for silly sake... Sure US1 was pretty silly but it was hardly mainstream... which is pretty much what opens the door for She-Hulk, which winds up being proto-Deadpool.... but I’ll get into that when we get to it.
