It was only a few short months after the completion of the girl's nursery that Caroline and Thomas had yet another new addition to the household- this time, another happy healthy baby boy!

Welcome Henry Zehr, born September 5, 1874.

Henry was growing up fast into a strong and lively young boy. He loved to play outside, and would talk to anyone who might listen to him, whether they be the neighbours or the chickens.

Luckily for Caroline though, he was also becoming a very self-sufficient child, which was necessary in the now very busy household.
