When the film Man of Steel (2013) was released, my home island of Jersey celebrated by making Henry Caville limited edition legitimate stamps, that can be officially used to mail letters. This is because Henry Caville was born in Jersey, and he is potentially the most famous man in Jersey history as he became Superman, which is one of the biggest roles to play in any comic book themed movie.

Man of Steel

I haven't watched Man of Steel since I saw it in theaters. I'm not a HUGE comic book fan, but I do enjoy the movies. I also enjoy ranting. Here's what I hated about Man of Steel. It changed from fantasy to reality without notice....a lot. In the very beginning it showed his parents sending him off in his little pod and then suddenly (without any "33 years later" or anything) it just shows him being an adult....Then he just had flashbacks to his childhood. They could have picked a hotter/more talented actress for Lois Lane. Like seriously? This bitch was in the muppets. There was a 10 minute fight scene in which (like all super hero movies) they destroyed Metropolis even more and it was SOOOOOOO LONG and boring. Overall it just took forever to pick up IF it even did. I was never on the edge of my seat. I did however watch it because Henry Caville is hot as hell. It was just very dry and boring. The only funny part was at the very end when one of the soldiers said he was hot which I think was in one of the trailers anyway. DC will never be able to top MARVEL. Marvel has Ironman and Ironman is funny and snarky. DC movies are long and boring. Even captain america and Thor crack jokes and make stuff fun in their own movies. I think I'm done ranting. I was mad that I hated it. I was super pumped for it. Christopher Nolan dropped the ball once again. Just like with the last Batman which I actually LOVED when I first saw it. Then I watched the "honest trailers" on YouTube and they pointed everything that sucked out. That's my nerd rant for the day. Just my opinion on things.
