The Heliza exchange
The deadline for the by-invitation-only Heliza FF exchange is today (11 February) which means in a few short days time, there'll be a new onslaught of words and images to tease our brains and melt our wae little hearts. Silly me, I declined the kind invitation and frankly, a part of me regrets it,
No, that's quite all right - you don't have to say it, because I know when other people's words reach my eyeballs, I'll hear the "I told ya so" real loud and clear.
Another question I have in mind is: wouldn't have this gone far far better with "Selfie" still around? There would've been a lot more "meta" exchanges with EK, KG, JC, and the rest of the cast, too.

A Selfie Fanfic chap. 3
As the time goes by, Henry and Eliza keep going with the sessions and Eliza was just getting better and better, having Henry more impressed and more in love with her.
- Henry: Let me say that you really surprised me, with the manners… and making dinner and looking into my eyes while I was talking and actually giving me your attention… wow.
- Eliza: I’m glad that I surprised you… excuse me for a sec pretty please. *smiles while blushing*
*Henry smiles*
While Eliza was on the bathroom Henry felt on the floor when he was walking waiting for her.
- Henry: What’s this…?
Henry looks at the book and saw that it was “Catcher in the rye”
Could it be possible? After all the weeks they spend together, Henry started to believe that it is actually possible…. He was shocked, and more in love.
- Eliza: Yeah… Catcher in the rye, I always thought that Holden was a badass, but he’s a character you can relate to… I found this book on the school library while I was hiding of the other kids that pull pranks on me, my phone was out of battery and I started to read it, the week of our kiss I found it and start to read it again, it actually means a lot more to me now.
Henry shocked with the mouth wide open stares at her with a lovely look on his eyes.
- Eliza: Henry… Yoho? Are you there? *laughs*
- Henry: I’m sorry… it’s just that… you’re genuine smart, and it’s just fascinating how someone could be so deep, down to earth and beautiful at the same time.
- Eliza: It’s all because of you, I was so lost you know, and I feel that I still am… at this point I just…
- Henry: Just what, my dear? *put his hand on her cheek*
- Eliza: Can’t picture myself without you, not now… not ever, I’m so lame… I’m actually crying I feel like I’m some soap opera star. *a teardrop falls on her face*
- Henry *cleaning her tears with his hand*: You don’t have to imagine that, you’re not alone, and you’ll never be alone again.
Henry and Eliza stare at each other, without saying any word, for a while… and then Eliza breaks the silence hugging Henry tight like she never hugged anyone before.
- Henry: You can’t imagine how much it pleases me having you by my side Eliza.
- Eliza: Thanks for being by my side…
- Henry: You’re mostly welcome Eliza, you’re mostly welcome.
A selfie fanfic. Chapter 2
After Henry and Eliza had their first kiss, there’s no more to hide, they’re not afraid to admit that they love each other.
- Henry: Good morning Charmonique! Isn’t this morning lovely? I just love work even more now.
- Charmonique: Well good morning to you too…. *looking Henry with an awkward look on her face*
Eliza comes around, and when she saw Henry, she smiled with a lovely smile.
- Eliza: Hi…
- Henry: Hi….
They stare at each other for a long time having Charmonique more disturbed now.
- Charmonique: Good morning Eliza! How are you?
- Eliza *without taking her eyes off Henry*: I’m good Charmonique, really good… honestly the mornings are being better now. *smiles*
- Charmonique: Are you two….?
- Both of them *staring at each other*: What?
- Charmonique: Never mind…
Henry points Eliza to go at his office, and she follows him.
- Henry: So….
- Eliza: So….
*Both of them laugh at the same time*
- Henry: I’ve been thinking about you, a lot.
*Eliza’s voice*: Things are just getting better and better, honestly I feel so tingly around Henry, so this is what love feels like? Being all sweaty, nervous and tingly and laughing all the same time… like watching eat love and pray when you’re totally drunk and stuff…
- Eliza: Me too. *Points Henry’s hand*
-Eliza: Would you let me… you know… I know that you don’t like to be touched and…
*Henry cutting her off holds her hand strongly*
- Henry: Honestly this feels good. *smiles at her*
- Eliza: I feel so silly right now, you know?
- Henry: Why?
- Eliza: Cause I’ve never imagined myself like…. Having lots of feels at the same time, well honestly that happens with PMS when I look to the mirror and think that I see myself fatter, but having lots of good feels… that’s what I meant, wanting to wake up in the morning just to come around and hug you, and being this close, I feel so safe around you.
- Henry: Well, ask me about feels…
- Eliza: AWWW you said feels, just like I say it.
Henry giggles.
- Eliza: Sorry… keep going, this is our cheesy moment.
- Henry: You’re the most complicated, funny, strong woman I’ve ever met, and I know that I wanna be with you whenever I see you smiling at me while I’m having my tea, or when you knock on my glass house… it is beautiful knowing that someone will be around, knowing you’re weird and you like the things you like and still love you.
- Eliza: I do love you my salad fellow.
- Henry: Your salad fellow? *laughs*
- Eliza: Alright, I’m going to keep working with the nicknames. *laughs* but meanwhile, I’m going to go and work on the real stuff…. Oh my gosh Henry I’m becoming you.
- Henry: *laughs* Eliza…. Wait.
- Eliza: What?
- Henry: You forgot something…
- Eliza: What?
- Henry: This...
Henry grabs Eliza and gives her a passionate kiss, as he kisses her, he can feel her smiling while the kiss… they let go, and Eliza is blushed.
- Eliza: Bye. *gives Henry a tiny kiss and smiles*

- After Henry finally realize that how he feels about Eliza it’s real, and those feelings are getting stronger he decides to stop by her apartment with flowers. *Eliza Opens the door with Freddy behind her* - Eliza: Henry… what are you doing here? - Freddy: Sup Henry! - Henry: Hi… Freddy, so you guys are getting back together? - Freddy: Yeah… what can I say dude, I wake up her animal instinct *makes a rawr face and bits Eliza’s neck* - Eliza: Pretty… flowers. - Henry: Yeah, yeah they are, I buy these for my… office, and i just want to stop by and say hi… gotta go. - Eliza: Bye… *Henry and Eliza stare at each other for seconds, and then Eliza closes the door* *Eliza’s voice*: Omg, the flowers… the bittersweet perfume, that glow on his eyes, I know exactly what is doing here it’s just that it’s happening something that I would like to call #ToLittleToLate, I mean it’s not that I don’t have feelings for Henry because I do, I wanna throw myself into the arms of that sweet serious tiny man but after all that happened I realize that our love was like the Noah and Ally Thing from the notebook you know? He’s gone to the military and turns gay and she turns a bitchy nurse and ends up with the rich guy with the awkward smile or maybe I didn’t understand the movie, but anyway that’s exactly what’s going on here… Freddy is my rich guy, and Henry is my Noah and I need to understand that. *The next morning* Eliza and Henry find each other on the elevator. - Henry: Hi… - Eliza: Hi… how are you today? - Henry: I’m fine, thanks for asking. *with anger on his tone* - Eliza: As I told you before, someone with good manners like you should ask something like… I don’t know how am I? - Henry: I don’t ask because… - Eliza: Because what? What’s your problem?*yelling* - Henry: You know what?
