"That's a rather harsh accusation, don't you think?

· · · · ·❝ What is this made of? Gold? ❞ It was too shiny for his taste, and kinda heavy and uncomfortable. Henry didn’t really want to wear it, but he also didn’t want to refuse the gift. Hopefully Rumple wouldn’t want him to walk around with this all the time. ·
· · · · ·❝ Perhaps, ❞ his grandfather replied, surveying his work with a nod of approval. He’d made most of Baelfire’s clothing by hand, and this was his first attempt at making something for Henry. A good·first attempt, if he did say so himself, but something told him that his grandson disagreed.·❝ Do you not like it? ❞

Stray animals were quite a rare occurrence in Storybrooke, but somehow after a certain villain died, some puppies just showed up. Henry was quite fond of dogs, so of course he wanted to help. And it seemed to him like that girl could be too, he didn’t know her yet.
❝ Do you think they like cinnamon milk? ❞
New to the town of storybrooke, riley had yet to meet someone who didn’t give her a deadly glare, as if she’d just wandered into some place that she had no business in being in. and soon enough, the girl started to actually feel that way.
but today, maybe things would change. when the opportunity to volunteer at the animal shelter arrived, riley quickly jumped on the opportunity. she loved animals, especially dogs. today would be fun.
“I’m not sure.. I’ve never had a dog. But, I know that if I was a dog, I’d like cinnamon milk.”

In the weeks following the return of her heart, it was not uncommon for Cora to find herself walking in solitude near the edge of town. The woods reminded her just a little bit of their old land, and gave her the feeling of welcome isolation. Despite the paved road and occasional shop or house, she felt at least a little more alone here as compared to downtown, where every other face was just one more set of eyes glaring daggers in her back.
It wasn’t entirely undeserved, but it did get old. And in any event, some days she just wanted to be alone. Cora had rather unexpectedly withdrawn into herself since the day in Gold’s shop. With her heart had come an entire slew of emotions, ranging from fierce and unyielding love to a deep regret and sorrow. It was all too much for someone unused to handling the weight of a heart, and very often Cora just wanted to be left to her own devices.
Which was how she’d found herself out here, far from her daughter’s mansion and the bustle of Storybrooke’s main street. Every once in a while she’d come across another person who would avoid her. But what she hadn’t expected to find was her grandson. Cora stopped short, breath hitching in her throat- Henry.
By god, what was she supposed to do now?
