I said this in a previous answer, but BABYLON 5 WHATTA GOOD, IT COMES HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

19. Name an episode from a show that you wish didn’t happen?

Ooh probably “Immolation” for The Expanse, if only because it ended a character arc (guess who!) in a truly dissatisfactory way for me.

42. What’s your favourite animated movie?

Anastasia!! Really, truly. I just think it’s gorgeous, even if I know just how inaccurate it is, also do not get me started on the stage musical, which I bought the libretto for just to hate read.

76. Are you a snacker/drinker during movies?

I’m a popcorn eater if I’m in a theatre, coffee drinker at home.

91. Pick a movie, any movie. Now tell us your favourite scene?

Uh…Sabah. The scene where the two leads kiss in the street because that is one helluva kiss, and it’s built up to pretty well.

Volume: Last book you dnf?

It took me some time to remember because I usually have no problems finishing whatever I read - I am either not too picky or just good at understanding whether I will like a book or not before picking it up - but I think it must have been A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness. I really hoped that eventually it would become more enjoyable, because there were interesting aspects, and I love it when magic and science are interwoven in fantasy novels, but in the end I did not even finish the first half of it because it felt too tedious for my taste, and the main characters and the relationship between them annoyed me too much.

Autobiography: Who is the protagonist you most relate to?

Richard Gansey III - reading The Raven Cycle at times felt very much as if Maggie Stiefvater had put a strange mirror in front of me, the kind that displays all my insecurities and fears and flaws perfectly.

Also, I am sorry that I keep bringing up Stephen King’s IT in each answer, but all Ben Hanscom’s chapters reminded me of my own childhood a lot and the ones in which he’s an adult hit home with me too (lonely kids gang make some noise!)

The entire Temeraire series has my whole heart, it’s historical fantasy but really the only fantasy elements are dragons, the rest is regular Napoleonic War stuff 

The Golem and the Jinni by Helene Wecker is historical magical realism and it is !!!!

The Book Thief ruined my life 

The Song of Achilles and Circe aren’t what one might call historical fiction exactly maybe but they’re based off historical things so I’m including them
