It’s been a long, long, long time...

Hi everybody! I hope you haven’t forgotten me..

Honestly, it’s been so incredibly long since I’ve been on Tumblr that I’m not too sure what the herpblr community is like anymore. First off, I want to apologize; I’m sorry that I dropped off the face of the planet (a.ka, tumblr) without much explanation. My happiness after my diagnosis is largely thanks to those older Herpblr members who I reached out to and who offered advice in my time of need- I’m sorry that I couldn’t continue to do that for some of you.

My absence is due to a few things:

1) My boyfriend. As some of you may know, about a year and a half ago I entered into a relationship, and I’m still in that relationship today! A big reason why I was on herpblr was because I felt tainted, confused and unsure if I would be loved again (or anytime soon). My boyfriend was very supportive when I disclosed, and honestly we never really have talked about it since. I really never get outbreaks, and it doesn’t affect my life- so it doesn’t really affect our life together. 

2) College. Last fall i moved many states away to California to begin my colligate adventure. I love my school and my friends, but adjusting is tough and I’m still figuring out what my rhythm, so to speak, is. 

I’m hoping to become more active on tumblr/herpblr- so please don’t hesitate to reach out. This community has done so much for me, and I just want to keep spreading the love xx
