The 1965 album Whipped Cream & Other Delights by Herb Alpert's Tijuana Brass was a hot seller, moving over 6 million units. It's a good album, without a doubt, but it also benefited from Dolores Erickson, the model who appears on the cover slathered in "whipped cream," licking the index finger of one hand and holding a rose in her other. Dolores Erickson's Whipped Cream & Other Delights album cover is one of the most recognizable of the '60s, and has been the subject of numerous tributes and parodies over the years.
