A song against depopulation and horouring the resistance of small villages.

Xavi Sarrià and Auxili have recently released a new song called A ple pulmó (which translates to something like “on the top of our lungs”). They dedicate the song “to the small villages of great courages, to everyone fighting against depopulation and the abandonment around our [Valencian] geography”, especially the inhabitants of the Els Ports shire.

The video was shot at Herbers, a village with 50 inhabitants, and with participation of people from all around the shire. Currently, Els Ports has a population density of 6.7 inhabitants per km2, that’s even lower than the Artic lands of Sápmi! But even with the pressure to emigrate to more urban areas, its inhabinats are building tools of cooperation and resistance, and don’t plan on giving up their villages any time soon.

'Westworld' Season 2: Katja Herbers Joins Cast

Katja Herbers will play a seasoned guest on the forthcoming second season of the HBO drama.

There’s a new visitor coming to Westworld.

The Leftovers alum Katja Herbers has joined the cast of the HBO drama for season two, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.

The actress will play a seasoned guest in Westworld whose latest visit comes at the park’s darkest hour.

The casting news comes as production on season two prepares to begin.  

For Herbers, the role keeps her in the fold at the pay cabler, where she recurred on the final season of The Leftovers and before that, on the first season of the Sarah Jessica Parker comedy Divorce. Her other credits include acclaimed dramas The Americans and Manhattan.

Details about season two of the big-budget series are being kept under wraps. However, its castmembers are getting ready to head to San Diego Comic-Con to reflect on season one and (hopefully) spill some details about season two. (HBO will also be hosting an extensive Westworld experience at the annual comic book convention.)

Those set to appear at Comic-Con include Ben Barnes, Ingrid Bolsø Berdal, Ed Harris, Luke Hemsworth, James Marsden, Thandie Newton, Simon Quarterman, Rodrigo Santoro, Angela Sarafyan, Jimmi Simpson, Tessa Thompson, Evan Rachel Wood, Shannon Woodward and Jeffrey Wright. (However, it is not yet confirmed who of the season one cast will be returning for the upcoming second season.)

The Warner Bros. Television drama hails from executive producers J.J. Abrams and Bryan Burk of Bad Robot Productions, the late Jerry Weintraub and showrunner Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy. Kathy Lingg and Athena Wickham serve as co-executive producer and producer on Westworld, respectively, with Susie Ekins co-producing. 

Westworld’s second season is expected to premiere sometime in 2018.
