Send me a ship and I'll tell you:
John steals all the covers, no matter how much Gordy complains. Gordon usually manages to wrestle some back eventually, though, and if he doesn’t then all he has to do is wiggle up close to John to force him to at least share them.
Who texts/rings to check how their day is going
Gordon worries about John when he doesn’t hear from him for a day or so, so he sends him a text or tries to call him to make sure he’s fine. Problem is, John doesn’t really answer his phone so it’s unlikely that he answers.
Who’s the most creative when it comes to gifts
Gordy, because he actually puts thought into his presents. John just buys random stuff that he sees and thinks looks cool. Sure, he gets good presents sometimes, but most of the time his gifts are impulsive buys.
Who gets up first in the morning
John doesn’t really have a proper sleeping schedule, so he’s sometimes awake first, sometimes not. When it comes to him, he either tends to wake up super early or super late.
Gordon, however, has a proper job and gets up at a proper time.
Who suggests new things in bed
Neither really. John isn’t really into that kind of thing (and if he is in the mood for it, what he wants to do is always very vanilla), and Gordon is too kind to suggest anything he thinks John might not like.
Neither of them. They don’t really tend to watch sad movies, to be honest.
Who gives unprompted messages
While Gordon is the one to send messages asking about John’s day, John is the one to send random messages - usually full of nonsense and talking about very peculiar things.
How they are when they’re sick
John is a nightmare when sick. He’s just like a young child - demanding and dramatic. Somehow, Gordon manages to put up with it and not lose his tempter too much (something John is very grateful for).
Gordy is more reasonable. He’s a sensible guy; he just gets on with life.
Gordy’s a handsome young man and people notice that, so of course John gets jealous sometimes. He doesn’t comment on it - he doesn’t want to bring attention to the fact that he’s jealous - but he’ll glare a little, and act protective the second he gets Gordon back to himself.
Who collects something unusual
John picks up all sorts of weird items and leaves them lying around the house, if that counts as a collection. If not, neither of them really collect anything “unusual”.
Who takes the longest to get ready
Because he doesn’t just throw on some clothes and count that as done, Gordon. He actually puts effort into his appearance.
When John does put effort into how he looks, though, he takes ages. He thinks it’s worth it in the end because he scrapes up pretty damn well.
Who is the tidiest and organized
Gordon is the tidiest by far. John likes to make sure some things are in certain places at all times, so in a way he is somewhat organised, but most of the time he just leaves everything randomly lying around the house.
Who gets most excited about the holidays
The holidays mean Gordon gets extra days off work, which gets John excited because hey, of course he likes to spend time with his boyfriend.
Who is the big spoon/little spoon
They swap around a lot. It really depends on their moods at the time. Sometimes John wants to be held, sometimes he wants to make sure Gordon knows that he cares. A similar situation happens in reverse too.
In all, John’s probably the little spoon more. This is simply because he usually needs to be comforted more.
Who gets most competitive when playing games and/or sports
When playing games with each other, they tend to just have fun and not really get too competitive at all. Sometimes John gets really involved in the game and, in the moment, is competitive, but who wins never really matters to him.
Who starts the most arguments
Most arguments are small, and often started by John having less than perfect behaviour. Usually he just acts irritable and says something dumb that he doesn’t really mean, but he says it anyway and Gordon has to call him up on it.
Who suggests that they buy a pet
Right now John is happy with just Clara, but once his life with Gordon is settled a bit more (maybe once they’re married, because he’s adamant that will one day happen) he would quite like another dog or two. Gordy is just happy to go along with whatever makes John smile.
