When Hercules got home, there was a post-it note taped to the cardboard taped to the front of his door--where a giant hole had existed over the last year or more. Hercules and Pegasus were both not...big repair people. They tended to patch and move on. Especially because of the--nature of Hercules’ being as a whole. Neither of them had seen much of a point.
And now that Hercules was living alone? He couldn’t really afford to properly get things fixed...
But, the note was very kind and he couldn’t just ignore it, even if he was just going to turn the offer down.
So, he put his groceries down and then strolled down the hall to the man--Djali’s door. Gently, very gently--he knocked. Last thing he wanted to do was put a whole in this nice person’s door.
“Uh, hi--Djali?” he asked when the door opened. He held up the sticky note for explanation. “I’m Herc, your neighbour from down the hall?”
